First time staying at the Apple Tree Hotel whilst working in the area, I will definitely be back. I can’t recommend enough, Simon was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms feel like home from home and it’s in a beautiful location. I had both breakfast and evening meal, can’t fault the quality or the cooking as they were both fab. Think I’ve found my new favourite place to stay when I work in Bridgewater again
The Apple Tree Hotel is comfortable and exceptionally welcoming. My friend and I were attending a wedding in the area and the owners offered to drive us there and pick us up if we needed to - he could not have done enough to make our stay a good one. The breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed eating in the bright, airy dining space. My room was comfortable and really clean, if a little cold. The water pressure in the shower was really weak, but other than that, we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to others coming to the area! Thank you!
My family and I stayed at the Apple tree hotel to attend a wedding at The Quantock hills venue, it was very convenient as it was 3 minutes by car. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and were perfect for our two nights stay. Breakfast was fantastic, the service was first class and we had everything we needed. Simon the owner was amazing and he offered to drive us to the venue on the day of the wedding instead of getting a taxi, we ended up taking our car and he drove it back for us. I can't praise him enough for being so helpful. If I'm in the area again will definitely stay there.
Stay was brilliant and nice part of the country. Owners Simon and Gillian were warm and friendly. Felt home from home, Not what you get from bigger hotel chains, their more the clinical soulless side. Food was top notch cooked how you liked. Nothing was to much for the staff they helped at every part of the stay. Have all ready booked again for another stay.
I very much enjoyed my stay here. The staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are well provided for with everything you need. We had an evening meal that was great value and the breakfast was equally as good. Thank you for the very pleasant stay.
Simon and the team really made us feel welcome for our three night stay. I stayed in room six which had a TV and a full size bath in the bathroom. Although the hotel is dated in places, it's super clean and welcoming and the food is home cooked. I can truly recommend the poached eggs for breakfast. Although it is situated on a busy "B" road the road noise is not too bad and generally disappears around 21.00 hrs. Overall a very pleasant stay with ample free parking and a small bar. I will definitely consider staying here again

Awesome hosts and staff, very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My room was a nice cozy space with an extremely comfortable bed. I found the floors to be very creaky (Normal for the type of building) which made me conscious of neighboring guests but it didn't put a damper on my experience. I will definitely be back but for longer next time.
